Elusiveness of Joy

Everyone wants to be happy, but few find it. What if I told you there was a difference between joy and happiness? What if you could experience joy throughout the most difficult circumstances?

You may be wondering how I can make such statements. It is because, in the most difficult of times, I have still found joy. Joy is not happiness. Happiness is based on circumstances, and let's face it, there are times when the circumstances we face are horrible, and we have no control over them. Therefore, we have no control over our own happiness.

We do have control over our own joy, though. I did not always believe this, and I thought joy was elusive. I thought only some people had the capability of being joyful every day; however, now I know it is accessible to everyone.
